On this edition of StockCharts TV’s Sector Spotlight, I address an email I received from a user with the subject line “Does RRG Really Matter?” At first glance, one could think a lot of things about such a subject line. However, it appeared to be a very well-written and thoughtful email from a user presenting a real-life use case in which he used RRG to put on two option trades that ended up being losses. To respond, I dive into the process, the assumptions, the usage of RRG, and the translation from a view to a position based on this user’s story. The weekly review of last week’s rotations only deals with sectors this time to save some time for the mailbag segment.
