10 Stocks to Watch for Tuesday, January 26, 2021
Remember, this is a watchlist, not a ‘must trade’ list. I’m not always right, and I don’t trade everything I watch. That’s why you should never blindly follow or buy anyone’s stock picks — even mine.
But there’s always something you can learn, so study up!
Watch out for patterns that fit your strategy. Always have a trading plan for every trade. Here are some resources to help you get started:

If you’ve been following my blog and lessons, you know I love to trade low-priced stocks. (To learn more about trading penny stocks, get my FREE guide here.)
But you’ll notice that not all of the stocks on this list are technically penny stocks. Even if I rarely trade higher-priced stocks, their movements can still affect stocks within my price range, so they’re worth watching.
Here are my 10 top stocks to watch today…
Stocks to Watch Today #1: American Battery Metals Corp. (OTCQB: ABML)
This stock was on my watchlist on Friday … Did you take note?
Monday it continued to new highs of $4.90. Never underestimate hot sector momentum in penny stocks.
It’s getting a bit overextended now, so I’ll watch for a morning panic dip buy opportunity.
Stocks to Watch Today #2: Climate Change Crisis Real Impact I Acquisition Corporation (NYSE: CLII)
CLII was a big percent gainer on January 22 after it was announced that EVgo Inc. was going public through a merger with the company.
EVgo builds and owns fast-charging stations for electric vehicles and also has commercial relationships with major auto manufacturers. After the merger is complete, the company will be listed under the ticker “EVGO.” Look for the ticker change in the future.
This is a hot sector EV stock. I’ll be watching for it to hold support around $20 and bounce.
Stocks to Watch Today #3: Corporate Universe, Inc. (OTCPK: COUV)
I traded this stock three times on January 22. It was one of my favorite patterns, the first green day OTC. I bought it in the morning when it had a breakout over the previous high of $0.365. I sold too soon and took a small profit of $1,050.*
The stock remained strong all day so I rebought it twice in the afternoon. One was an intraday breakout for a profit of $910,* and the second trade was a dip buy for a profit of $1,268.*
Just before the market closed I bought it again to hold over the weekend. I bought 85,000 shares at $0.418 and sold Monday morning at $0.4589 for a profit of $3,476.*
I’ll watch this stock for continuation over the high of $0.565 or a possible morning panic dip buy if it gets too overextended.
(*Please note that these kinds of trading results are not typical. Most traders lose money. It takes years of dedication, hard work, and discipline to learn how to trade. Individual results will vary. Trading is inherently risky. Before making any trades, remember to do your due diligence and never risk more than you can afford to lose.)
Stocks to Watch Today #4: Palantir Technologies Inc. (NYSE: PLTR)
Although higher-priced stocks aren’t my niche, my patterns can work to trade them as well. PLTR is in a hot tech sector. It develops software for intelligence operations and investigations. Civil unrest news could also make this stock move.
It’s been in an uptrend since its IPO in October 2020. On January 22, it had a big green day and a gain of over 25%. Then on January 25, it broke out to new all-time highs.
I’ll watch for continuation to new highs over $39.58.
Stocks to Watch Today #5: Express, Inc. (NYSE: EXPR)
EXPR had its first green day on January 22 on high volume. On Monday the stock gapped up over 100%.
The stock is reportedly being pumped on social media networks, similar to GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME), which created a giant short squeeze. But don’t buy this one in hopes of a huge move like GME. Short squeezes don’t end well for buyers chasing the move, or short sellers…
There are plenty of historic, record short squeezes that can show you just how dangerous they are — here’s one perfect example. And learn from this historic XBIO squeeze. I was actually short this one back in 2015 and had to cut losses quickly.
Stocks to Watch Today #6: American Lithium Minerals, Inc. (OTCPK: AMLM)
AMLM is a lithium exploration company. With all the new electric cars and tech, lithium is a hot commodity. The stock traded huge volume and had a massive run from 25 cents to $1.50 per share — in two days!
It’s overextended so this is another stock I’ll be watching for a morning panic dip buy.
Stocks to Watch Today #7: SinglePoint, Inc. (OTCPK: SING)
SING is another stock in the hot solar sector. It went from a sub-penny stock to over 3 cents a share in two days on high volume. I traded it on Monday for a profit of $1,302.*
I’ll be watching it for a morning panic dip buy on Tuesday or Wednesday.
Stocks to Watch Today #8: Inpixon (NASDAQ: INPX)
INPX has been uptrending on high volume during the month of January. On Monday the company announced an offering of almost 20 million shares at a price of $1.55.
The stock pulled back slightly but has a nice multi-month breakout level around $1.67. I’ll watch for the breakout with high volume, which could also squeeze out shorts who may have gotten in on the negative offering news.
Stocks to Watch Today #9: Orbital Energy Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: OEG)
OEG is an energy stock. On January 25 the company announced its solar subsidiary was named the company of choice to partner with Black Sunrise Half Century Fund for their projects to decommission coal-fired power plants.
The stock had a nice gap up over the breakout level of $5 and traded as high as $8.70. The stock closed near its highs so I’ll watch for continuation to new highs.
Stocks to Watch Today #10: Sun Pacific Holding Corp. (OTCPK: SNPW)
Here’s another stock from my Friday watchlist. It’s up huge now, from a sub-penny stock to 16 cents in six days.
It’s in a hot sector but it’s getting overextended. I won’t chase, but I will watch for a morning panic dip buy opportunity.
