News Moving the Penny Stocks on This List

China-based education stocks had a huge run on Friday after the IPO of Elite Education Group International. (NASDAQ: EEIQ) EEIQ was Friday’s biggest gainer. But the stock had crazy price swings and several volatility halts. Featured stock #3 was a lower priced sympathy play to EEIQ.

Shares of investment banks Credit Suisse and Nomura dropped on news that hedge fund Archegos failed to cover margin calls. Several big banks were liquidating shares. This could make for a rocky start to the week in trading.

Top Penny Stocks List Weekly Update: March 29, 2021

The market shifted last week. I prefer morning panics, first green days, or shorting first red days. But none of those patterns is working well right now. My focus this week is on morning spikers. Watch at the open each day for big percent gainers with news.

And don’t feel bad if you’re losing — focus on controlling your losses. Take what the market gives and learn from every trade.

Let’s start with OTCs and then move on to listed stocks…

Top OTCMarkets Penny Stocks To Watch

Below is my OTC penny stocks list for the week starting March 29, 2021. Be sure to read everything so you understand the thought process that goes into my list.

Top Penny Stocks List Weekly Update #1: Labor Smart Inc. (OTCPK: LTNC)

Labor Smart started as a blue collar staffing company. It was a big hit with Twitter promoters in February and early March. The company acquired Takeover Industries intending to enter the sports drink space.

On March 17, the company announced a joint venture with Faith Springs, LLC.

CEO Joe Pavlik said, “This is truly a significant milestone for the Company, as this lays a solid foundation for future product development. I’m very confident of our ability to bring new products to market with a long term, research driven, manufacturing partner like Faith Springs. We look forward to launching our new, innovative hydrogen infused water formulation in the coming weeks. As previously stated, we expect to have our first product available for purchase before Easter.”

Here’s the LTNC one-year chart…

LTNC broke out on Friday, hitting a 52-week high of $0.0475. The promoters are all over this. Use STT Breaking News to keep up with what’s getting promoted.

I’m in no rush to chase LTNC as it’s very choppy. It can run, but I’d prefer to buy into any intraday panic. See details of my LTNC trades* here.

(*Please note: My results are far from typical. Individual results will vary. Most traders lose money. I have the benefit of years of hard work, dedication, and experience. Trading is inherently risky. Do your due diligence and never risk more than you can afford to lose.)

Top Penny Stocks List Weekly Update #2: HQ Global Education Inc. (OTCPK: HQGE)

HQ Global Education used to be in the educational services sector. In May 2020, the company acquired Big M Entertainment Pictures, Inc. Since then, it has transitioned to film and TV production services. The company applied for a name and ticker change. FINRA rejected the company’s application when it failed to produce the necessary documents.

On March 18, the company launched a marketing campaign for an upcoming film release.

HQGE president Marvin Williams said, “We are excited to launch this campaign for several reasons. Of course, we anticipate early promotion for “Captured” to help the film’s overall awareness for its 2021 anticipated release. It also reveals BMEP’s regional and nationwide outdoor marketing capability and commitment to a marketing reach normally equated to larger studios. Our regional and nationwide billboard capability adds an exciting dimension to our varied range of marketing mediums that will further introduce our IP to the general public and hopefully future fans.”

Here’s the HQGE one-year chart…

HQGE closed Friday up 46% on higher than average volume. It appeared to be moving in sympathy to EEIQ, even though it’s no longer in the education space.

Like LTNC, I prefer not to chase HQGE. I’d prefer to dip buy into any big intraday panic. See details of my HQGE trades* here.

Top Penny Stocks List Weekly Update #3: Investview Inc. (OTCQB: INVU)

Investview is a fintech with its fingers in a lot of pies. It provides research and investment education to self-directed investors. It also invests in, and mines, cryptocurrency.

On March 23, the company announced a $1 million investment in NDAU. NDAU is supposedly a less volatile cryptocurrency.

Investview CEO Joe Cammarata said, “Digital currencies have now fully emerged into the mainstream with Bitcoin as the pioneer. The increase in value of cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, NDAU and others have created significant interest from individuals and institutions alike.”

Read the full press release here.

The company also recently filed this 8-K detailing the acquisition of SSA Technologies. SSA Technologies is a FINRA-registered broker-dealer and owner of a software-based trading platform.

Here’s the INVU one-year chart…

INVU hit a 52-week high of  25 cents a share on January 12. Friday was a strong first green day when the stock spiked during power hour and largely held its gains.

I’m watching INVU for any big intraday panic. But it could run if it can breakout over the 52-week high.

Top Penny Stocks List Weekly Update #4: Barrel Energy Inc. (OTCPK: BRLL)

Barrel Energy is an energy sector play. Officially, the company is in oil & gas. But most recent news is about lithium battery production.

On March 4, Barrel signed an MOU with American Lithium Minerals, Inc. (OTCPK: AMLM) The companies are partnering in North America-based production facilities.

“The non-exclusive AMLM agreement calls for Lithium products to be pilot tested, manufactured and even recycled at one or more its industrial complexes. The technology, operations and products will be provided by Barrel through its agreement with Roshan Energy, as well as any technology sourced by AMLM.”

Here’s the BRLL one-year chart…

BRLL had a big spike in February, going supernova and hitting a 52-week high of 85 cents a share. Since then it has dropped back to trade in the 15 to 20 cent range. It had a strong first green day on Friday, finishing up 56%.

BRLL is another stock that can run, but I’m in no rush to chase it. I’d love to dip buy into any big intraday panic. See details of my BRLL trades* here.

Top Penny Stocks List Weekly Update #5: LiveXLive Media Inc. (NASDAQ: LIVX)

LiveXLive (pronounced Live by Live) is a music streaming/podcast platform.

LIVX spiked on Friday after announcing the launch of an NFT division…

CEO Robert Ellin said, “There is potentially significant value in building a dedicated business to support these new forms of digital assets from both a monetization and promotional perspective. Our events across music, pop-culture, gaming, pay-per-view, podcasting/vodcasting and audio align perfectly with the value proposition NFTs represent to superfans and collectors across the world.”

Here’s the LIVX one-year chart…

LIVX spiked fast on the NFT news, hitting a 52-week high of $6.95. But then it tanked nearly as fast and closed the day down 6.7%.

I’m watching LIVX for any big morning spikes, ideally with volume and news. See details of my LIVX trades here.
